Description
First Presbyterian Church has been a client since Architects Incorporated
opened its doors in 1991. Most recently, we helped the Church develop
an interior design renovation and projected master site and building
plan to accommodate present church program and future projected
programs in a phased implementation format. Design sensitivity to
this historic church is critical to maintain its sanctuary acoustics
as well as its landmark historic building character. Computer renderings
depict its original almost "crystal cathedral" glazing
and how change in color scheme can enrich and accent architecture
and provide a more intimate feel to a monumental scale interior.
Past
work includes gutter and roof replacement, stairwell flat roof replacement,
lintel replacement, complete commercial kitchen renovation, east
entry canopy study, and renovations to an existing building for
expansion of the youth ministry.
